3. Jozi Brunch
Location: 3 Rue Valette, 75005 Paris France
When we arrived on a Saturday morning, there was a small line at Jozi Brunch but it moved quickly and we were seated without a long wait. The pancakes were delicious, the fruit fresh and the iced tea refreshing. No complaints about the food.
Our server also made a very good impression right from the start. When he asked us if we preferred to be seated inside or outside, we told him that we would comply with his convenience. But he refused and said, “You are the boss, it is up to you”.
This reflection made us understand how Parisian cafes and restaurants work: the customer is king. Sometimes the service can seem negligent to outsiders when in reality, the server is simply waiting for the next request. And when you want to leave, there is no question of hanging around, you pay the bill yourself! This experience at Jozi Brunch perfectly illustrated this mentality.
4. Bon Bouquet Cafe
Location: 30 Rue Le Peletier, 75009 Paris France
As both a vegetarian and indecisive person, I appreciated the wide selection of tasty and creative breakfast/brunch dishes to choose from – both savory and sweet. There were traditional options like croissants and pastries alongside more unique creations like shakshuka and quinoa bowls. Something for everyone.
The drinks menu was also impressively unique and delicious. I had to try the Macha Latte after seeing it recommended, and it truly was the best I’ve ever had – kudos to Raj for the perfectly foamed and balanced Matcha latte. Other fun drinks included lavender and rose lattes.
The cafe had a warm, welcoming vibe despite its tiny size. Our food was prepared with care and we left feeling very satisfied. This hidden gem is a much more exciting way to start the day in Paris compared to a standard hotel breakfast. I’ll definitely be back for more discoveries of the creative menu. Bon Bouquet is a true find – don’t overlook it!”

Reviewed: Khushboo
Sep Lai instantly transports you to another world from the moment you step through its doors. The setting is breathtakingly elegant yet comfortable, beautifully blending modern and classic designs. Exquisite details have been perfectly executed throughout the space.
But it’s not just the ambiance – the service matches this level of sophistication. Our server was effortlessly attentive, anticipating our needs before we even knew what we needed. Another example of the flawless experience Sep Lai provides.

6. Le Ju’
location: 16 Rue des Archives, 75004 Paris France
Le Ju’ is a charming Parisian cafe located in an ideal spot for relaxation and delicious sustenance. On a recent visit, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff as the first customers of the morning. After perusing the enticing menu, I chose the so-called “Kate Moss” waffles, accompanied by a side of perfectly cooked bacon and eggs.
The waffles arrived light and fluffy, stacked high with fresh berries and indulgent whipped cream. Each bite was a taste of heavenly breakfast bliss. My companion’s runny eggs and crispy bacon made for the perfect savory complement. The portion sizes were generous but not overwhelming.
The cafe’s interior feels inviting with its woven-back chairs, botanical prints, and jazz soundtrack playing softly in the background. Sipping a latte on the terrace as morning broke would have been idyllic, too, though we were content to linger over our leisurely repast inside.
Service from the personable staff was attentive yet discreet. Though prices may seem steep to some, the quality and experience justify the cost. I would happily return to Le Ju’ for another memorable French breakfast in the future. With its tasty dishes and welcoming atmosphere, it offers the ideal way to start the day in style in the heart of Paris.

Situated in a charming pedestrian street in Montmartre, Frog & Underground proved to be a fantastic local find. Over the course of a few evenings, we experienced quick and attentive bar service despite the busy atmosphere.
The staff were unfailingly friendly and prices extremely reasonable for Paris. It was a delight to claim one of the sidewalk tables and watch the lively neighborhood scene unfold.

8. Caramel Sarrasin
My family of five really enjoyed Stephane’s entertaining Breton galette and crepe evening cooking class and hosted dinner at Caramel Sarrasin. After busy days sightseeing around Paris, it was a delightful change of pace.
Stephane is a fantastic host and teacher – he made the class fun and interactive for the kids (ages 15, 15, 12) while teaching us traditional Breton recipes and culture. We each got to prepare appetizers, main dishes, and desserts to enjoy a family-style dinner.
Getting hands-on experience combining, shaping, and cooking the crepes and buckwheat galettes was so interesting. The delicious meal we created felt like a real treat. The location is also lovely, in a residential area near cafes and shops.
This unique cooking experience gave us a memorable local cultural perspective and tasty food our whole family still talks about. I’d absolutely recommend Caramel Sarrasin for a special family-friendly evening away from typical tourist activities in Paris. Stephane is a gem – he really brought Breton culture to life for us!
9. The Hardware Societe Paris
Location: 18th Arrondissement – Butte-Montmartre
Number: +33 1 42 51 69 03
My partner and I stumbled upon this cute café near our accommodation – it proved to be a lovely spot for our first meal in France. While not overly busy, the service stood out as exceptional.
Our waitress showed immense patience, speaking slowly in English and graciously accommodating our unfamiliarity with the menu or customs. She genuinely seemed to want us to enjoy our experience in her country.
The food did not disappoint either – fresh seasonal fruit, a thin crispy croissant, and a matcha latte that may have been the best I’ve ever had. Everything was beautifully presented with care and attention to flavor.
The Hardware Societe feels like a true neighborhood gem – comfortable and welcoming. Even for two tourists just arriving, we felt at ease. I would absolutely return to appreciate more of what this special waitress and her colleagues do so well – make customers feel at home both culturally and culinarily in their city. It left me with warm feelings about Parisian hospitality.

My partner and I popped into Midi 12 one afternoon after exploring the Latin Quarter and were immediately impressed by the attentive, highly friendly service.
The staff welcomed us warmly and took our order promptly. I opted for the daily galette special – roasted chicken, peppers, goat cheese and an egg layered perfectly inside the crisp buckwheat round. It was absolutely delicious.
My partner enjoyed a cider, and the coffee we shared afterward was top-notch. The whole meal was put together with care and attention to quality ingredients.
We felt at ease in the cozy ambiance. Our wonderful hostess even recommended nearby sites and cafes to check out based on our interests. My husband and I celebrated a special occasion at Poni, and from start to finish it exceeded all expectations. The staff could not have been more attentive, welcoming, and friendly – they even brought us complimentary glasses of champagne!
The food was absolutely stunning – beautifully plated works of art. I opted for tender pork served atop mashed potatoes, which was perfectly satisfying on its own. My husband enjoyed a decadent duck dish.
For dessert, we shared a melt-in-your-mouth brookie that was worth saving room for. High quality, local ingredients, and expert cooking techniques shone through in every bite.

Deciding to pop into TATA Burger for a quick lunch, I’m so glad I discovered this cozy gem. From the moment I walked in, the service from Ines and Vincent was excellent – friendly, helpful, and efficient.
The menu offered delicious, affordable burgers and sides. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked patty with crisp lettuce and a special sauce that was exceptional quality for the price. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean.
