After touring the regal halls of Versailles Palace, my husband and I were thrilled to discover Cafe de L’Orangerie nearby. It offered the perfect respite from the throngs, along with lovely healthy fare and service.

I enjoyed a fresh falafel bowl while my husband tried the Thai tom yum soup – both light yet satisfying meals. But the standout was undoubtedly the pistachio tiramisu for dessert. Simply divine!

While both food and ambience were top notch, friendly staff going above with English language skills really made our experience.

Reasonably priced for the quality offered, Cafe de L’Orangerie is ideal for refueling after a day immersed in French royalty. We’ll certainly return next visit to the palace grounds. A true find!

While staying near Versailles, we fortunately decided against the hotel restaurant and drove exploring. By happy accident we came upon Le Bœuf Couronné tucked within a modern complex, complete with free rear parking.

Though September, warm balmy air made their outdoor seating quite pleasant. We indulged in a leisurely, thoroughly enjoyable dinner attended by sincerely warm staff.

Various cuts of steak prepared to perfection sufficed, paired with excellent local wines. Our evening could’ve been ruined getting locked out of the car park, but the owner insisted on personally driving us back to our hotel – now that’s French hospitality!

Le Bœuf Couronné proved an unexpected culinary gem thanks to their wonderful food and care. I’ll forever appreciate their kindness ensuring our visit to France remained a joyous memory. Quite simply, I love this country.

After touring Le Château de Versailles, my family needed nourishment – fast. So we popped into the nearby McDonald’s, expecting standard Golden Arches fare. But wow, were we impressed!

Servers graciously brought our meals to tables on real plates, not just wrappers. Nuggets and fries tasted fresher than back home. And service? Lightning quick even at peak time.

This gold standard McDonald’s even ensured bathrooms felt fit for royalty with dedicated cleaners. Top marks for location too on the palace corner!

While it may lack haute cuisine, Versailles’ McDonald’s raises the fast food bar. A worthwhile stop for hungry visitors in need of sustenance – but make it classy like the French. Now that’s lovin’ it!

La Pâtisserie in Versailles offered a delightful mid-morning pick-me-up. Aurélien’s friendly service deserves recognition for making our visit enjoyable.

While the cakes could use a touch more filling, they were well crafted. However, the pancakes – now those were exquisite. Fluffy stacks with just the right amount of sweetness. For locals or tourists seeking a satisfying sweet bite, La Pâtisserie delivers. Excellent service in a relaxed setting makes it a dependable spot to refuel.

Though cake fillings could be bumped up, those pancakes stole the show – light, flavorful perfection. I’ll be back to sample more of their tasty treats next visit to town.

Visiting Versailles, we sought shelter from misty rain at Bistro le Coursive. What a gem we found! The plat du jour, a perfectly prepared duck in tangerine sauce alongside salad and beans, was exceptionally tasty and good value. Coffee and wine complemented superbly.

We returned later to cozy bar where Margaritas and camaraderie shone as brightly as the evening. Friendly staff attended diligently throughout each visit. Accommodating outdoor seating offered respite alongside consistently excellent fare from classic plates to sweet fruit tarts.

Bistro le Coursive earns loyal patrons through its down-to-earth charm and skillful cooking. A true victual Villain to pass rainy days in warm, welcoming company.

After a morning spent admiring Versailles Palace, my friend and I arrived just in time for lunch at Le Pain Quotidien. What a delightful spot to unwind and refuel!

With various tempting options, we chose banana chocolate pancakes and avocado toast with smoked salmon – both were absolutely divine. The cozy upstairs area gave views of lively atmosphere below.

Staff could not have been more helpful, as one speaks excellent English given our limited French. Decor throughout injects a sense of joy.

Le Pain Quotidien earns top marks for quality fare, charming vibes and friendly service. A true highlight after touring – I absolutely recommend adding it to your Versailles itinerary. Merci for the memorable meal!
